I was wondering what the minimum wattage is for the Sun tracking frames Eco-Worthy makes? I have a shallow well that works fairly well on a 200w, 36v RPS Solar system and am in the process of installing a 700+ watt system in another deeper well about a mile away. Do the Sun trackers derive power directly off of the solar panels or do they have their own panels to power them?
They need their own power but it doesn't require much. I have a 6AH lithium with a 25 watt panel and MPPT controller (all from amazon for under $40 total) and it's been running well since I installed it in Feb. The 25 watt panel mounts along with the other panels.
Eco-Worthy's Sun tracking frames typically don't have a specific minimum wattage requirement as they are designed to be compatible with various solar panel configurations. However, it's essential to ensure that the solar panels used with the tracking frames meet the voltage and amperage specifications recommended by Eco-Worthy for optimal performance.
Regarding power supply, Sun trackers usually derive power directly from the solar panels they are attached to. They incorporate sensors and motors that adjust the panels' position throughout the day to maximize sunlight exposure, thereby enhancing energy production. This means they don't typically require additional solar panels to power them separately.
For your 700+ watt system for the deeper well, Eco-Worthy's Sun tracking frames would likely be a beneficial addition, helping to increase the overall energy output by optimizing sunlight capture throughout the day.
