hi all, looking to power our off grid office with batteries and a 24volt inverter and 6 400w panels.
my question is this, currently we have 4 AGM batteries wired in series and parallel giving us 24volts
i have read that you can wire 4 eco flow batteries lithium ion in this configuration but can you wire 6
also the office is in th euk so not too cold but should i imclude a way of stopping the room going below 0 degrees in winter or is there something that we can buy to keep them at the best temp i winter
The question is the balancing of the batteries. Its recomended in Parallel not to exceed 4. In series you may want to utilize an external balancer. I would look to solve the issue by using larger amp hour batteries over quantity of batteries. 24 and 48 volt batteries are not recommended for parallel.. Calculate max load and max charge potential and find the balanced value between select your battery bank config add balancing where needed.
.
The issue at hand is to the equilibrium of the batteries. It is advised doodle baseball to not exceed a maximum of 4 in parallel.
