We have aMercedesSprinter and bought the Ec-Worthy 280Ah lithium battery, Battery monitor and 12V 20A & 40A DC to DC Charger On-Board MPPT Battery Charger thinking this will get us what we need (longer battery life in the van).
The current set-up has 25mm2 main wiring and advice so far is a fuse onlive/red near the vehicle battery, another near the mppt. The wires coming out of the dc/mppt look half the size of the existing cables. Will that be OK?
Should the isolator switch then sit between the dc/mppt and leisure battery? Do I need a fuse on that connection too?
I think that's a start, I hope you can help. Some videos for this kit would be great.
