I have the 25w kit.  If it were possible I would imagine the best way to connect an inverter would be through the charge controller 'load' output. As I don't imagine a sub 10A inverter exists...

@Wade Thomas The first configuration will save more cables than the second. Since the 2 ways are both 2s2p, they share the same output current and the cable size should be the same.
